2018 Training Camp and Preseason

After closing last season with a 0-16 record, the Cleveland Browns do not intend to crawl to the start of this season looking for a win.  The Browns players are intense in training camp. We had quite a brawl to begin the week; between wide receiver Jarvis Landry and corner-back Terrance Mitchell. In the heat of the moment things got out of hand and both players forgot they're on the same team. This led to a bench clearing brawl.  No one was injured.  Losing your wide receiver and corner-back to thoughtless injuries in training camp is not the best way to start the season.

The Browns looked good in their 20-10 defeat of the New York Giants last Thursday.  On August 17th the Browns will host another New York team, the Buffalo Bills, in their second preseason game.  Hopefully, they will continue their winning ways.  If the players continue to work hard straight through the preseason, they'll rack up a couple of major victories to start the season.

Circumstances being what they are regarding concussions and contracts, the Browns may have an opportunity to start the season with a win;  But that won't come easy against the Pittsburgh Steelers'. Though, anything can happen on any given NFL Sunday.  Hannibal believed that "chance favors the prepared mind."

I believe this can be a great NFL season for the Browns.  One that will make Jim Brown and the Cleveland fans proud.
